Mother's Day 2014

Happy Mother's Day 2014!  My AWESOME children surprised me with homemade gifts and I picked out store bought gifts. MJ gave me a homemade card and blush so she could inherit my blush, LOL.  Lydia gave me a flower picture and a coffee mug that says "World's Best Mom".  And Nathan gave me a bookmark and smart boy combined flowers and a balloon with a balloon shaped like flowers (he actually came with me to the store and picked out the balloon himself)! We went to church where they graciously took our picture with our own camera phones and had a great service with the founder of the ministry Proverbs 31 Woman, Lysa Turkhurst (sp?). We then went to McD's and dined on chicken nuggets, fries, the kids had cookies and sweet tea. And for dessert at home, coffee, cheesecake and cupcakes! What a wonderful day and I'm such a proud Mama because the kids all work so hard and I get AWESOME reports every day from someone at school, therapy, church and even out and about! I am truly blessed by my children and I feel like finally all of our hard work is paying off!

Special Olympics!

 Lydia participated in the Young Athletes division of Special Olympics and Nathan participated some too so they both received ribbons! It was a fun time!

 MJ participated in Special Olympics gymnastics and received 1st place in her division in all events: bars, vault, floor, and beam!

I am one proud mama! I have the best kids in the whole world!
